Painted Tree VA Beach

We are so excited to be at Painted Tree Home Store in Virginia Beach. Painted Tree is a large store that allows vendors to come in and sell their wares. It’s great if you ever wanted a store front, but it provides all of the support so you can focus on sharing your products with customers.

When we moved to this area, I remember walking through the store with my husband saying, I would love to have a space in this store. At the time, they had a waiting list. One day I walked up to the store manager and she said, she prayed for the right person to come forth to be the next vendor. Well, I was the answer to her prayers, and she was the answer to mine.

We have been in the store for a couple of months. We are delighted to present our Holiday Collection in the store and online.

Lucketts Market Weekend

We were so excited to set up at the Lucketts Flea Market to showcase all of our beautiful homeware. The last time we set up at a flea market, it literally rained for three days, and needless to say, we have been a little gun shy to go back out.

This past weekend, Lauren and I went out, and we didn’t have a lot of expectations; it was to get our feet wet again. We met great people, enjoyed the company of other vendors, and most importantly, it was a great bonding time for us as a mother and daughter team. We met another mother and daughter who were from New Orleans. It was a treat to talk about New Orleans and our shared experiences.

Most importantly, we learned some great lessons. We understand more of our strengths and weaknesses and how we can support one another. We learned what we should sell to this particular market, what snacks to bring, and with the weather being one minute warm and the next minute cold, we understand that how we dress is crucial. Also, sunscreen is a must (Lauren got a sunburn while we were out there).

Our most popular items were the candles, the blue and white bud vases, linen, and trays. That was about all of our merchandise, so it was a good weekend!

Overall it was a great experience, and we look forward to going out again. Right now, we are scheduled for the following weekends:

Welcome to Celebrations from the Soul! I am so delighted to bring our new candle line to the marketplace. Over the years, I have shared stories of the importance of embracing the foundation of Heart, Home, and Community. Realizing that when you focus on your heart by encompassing things into your daily routine (e.g. prayer, exercise, meditation, candles, flowers, giving back, spending time with friends, etc.) it will nurture your soul. As a mom, wife, teacher and entrepreneur, I know for sure that building up your heart space, leads into a happier and healthier home that is grounded in the base of love. This in turn, will overflow into your community.

A few years back, I created the term “GracingUp” to remind us of the importance of loving on ourselves, so we can love on others. It is my honor and pleasure to bring these candles that were created with collections that not only smell divine, but they are purposeful and inspiring to help you love on your sacred space.
